Sazaikawn Local is located within Rahsiveng Section and is the location of the District Jail. Previously, it was under the Rahsiveng VC area. To establish a church in this area, Rahsiveng Local conducted outreach services three times. On December 1, 1989, the UPC Church was established at Bro. H. Lawmchungnunga's Quarters, led by District Pastor Rev. PC. Doliana.

Services were initially held at Bro. H. Lawmchungnunga's residence. Later, worship services continued at Bro. Ramthianghlima's home. From 1991 onwards, a church was constructed at the current church site and worship began there. At the time of establishment, there were 27 members. The early church leaders were:

The first individuals to receive baptism on January 20, 1991 were: Rebek C. Lalengliani, HS. Hrangliani, Zoramsiami, and Lalkhumi.
