Lunglei District Choir

Lunglei District PYD Choir was established on 8th Oct 1991 under the PYD. From its inception, Conductors and Conveners were appointed to manage it, and under their care, it continued until it became the Dist UPC Choir. Lunglei District UPC Choir was re-established in 2021 under the UPC District Music Committee.
In the current choir term 2025 - 2027, including the Conductor & Asst Conductor, Convener & Asst. Convener, there are 29 choir members in total.
Practices are held regularly throughout the year every Thursday night, and as needed, the leaders also call for practice on Tuesday nights.
In terms of ministry, singing ministry is conducted at General & District conferences, and beyond these, performances are given at as many places as possible depending on invitations received.
