This local church was formerly under the Thenhlum Pastorate. After the formation of the Zawlpui Pastorate, it came under the Zawlpui Pastorate. It is situated on the narrow ridge between the confluence of the Tuisen River and the Kau River. Previously, they resided nearly 3 km north of their current location, which fell within the Changpui land area. Bolia, the founder of the village, established it after requesting permission from the landowners, and even after moving to the new settlement site, they have retained the name 'Bolia Veng'.

Bolia Veng consists of about 150 households, with only a few existing UPC members, while the rest belong to the Baptist Church. Sent by the District Missions Department, Evan H. Rothuama (Putlungasih) and Evan. Andrew Lalremsanga entered Bolia Veng on February 2, 2006. There were a few existing UPC members in this village. Through their ministry, the work expanded; 7 (seven) people received baptism, and the membership quickly reached 41. To establish a firm foundation, ad-hoc office bearers were appointed on February 5, 2006, as follows:

They promptly reported the situation to the District Superintendent, Rev. C.S. Pachhunga, and Pastor R. Vanlalenga. The Pastorate Minister, Pastor R. Vanlalenga, visited on February 17, 2006 (Saturday) and spent Sunday with them. On Monday, February 19, 2006, the church was officially organized properly as follows:

While they were under the Thenhlum Pastorate, due to the small number of local members and potential for growth in the field, the Pastorate engaged workers – Evan Lalmuankima (Lungchem) and Bro T. Lalrinawma (College Veng). Through District initiatives, Deacon Lalramnghaka (Rahsiveng) and others were also stationed there.

Current Status :

In 2025, there are 26 members, comprising 4 households including temporary residents. On May 6, 2022, the foundation stone for an RCC church building was laid by Rev. C. Vanlalena, District Superintendent, accompanied by Rev. R. Lalrosanga, Former District Superintendent. Construction of the church building commenced immediately. The dimensions of the church building are 27/18 Feet.
